People per hour is a pretty great looking website that I’ve only just discovered, which publishes short-term jobs for freelancers. The idea is that people post details of the jobs they need doing and the freelancer kind of bids for the job by sending a proposal/ their cv/ an example of their past work. The most frequent jobs I’ve seen are very good for techies, web-designers, bloggers (especially fashion), graphic designers capable of packaging/brand design/logos, occasional translation jobs, illustration and ghost writing.
Right now on people per hour, someone wants a valentines day poem to tweet to promote their chicken shop- job going for £10. Someone wants all the lighting designed for their house redesign- that job’s being priced at around £4K!! Somebody needs their coffee shop branded and a new logo designed for a few hundred pounds. Someone else needs a book ghost written up from interviews with the client for a grand. New jobs seem to go up every hour and seem to get snapped up pretty fast so get looking!
